Network Setup

Setup

The Setup functions of the Digital BUS-WATCH® surveillance system are available from the

Setup dialog box.

The Setup dialog box is accessed by clicking the Setup Option in the Menu Button of the BUS-

WATCH® Live view application interface or the BUS-WATCH® Play back application.

Setup Button

The available setup functions of the Setup dialog box are organized into tabs at the top of the

dialog box. Each tab provides access to setup functions associated with specific operations or

functions of the Digital BUS-WATCH® surveillance system. A description of the setup

function(s) of each tab are described below.

Devices tab

The Devices Setup is used to configure the BUS-WATCH® Live View application and BUS-

WATCH® Play back application to connect to BUS-WATCH® Mobile Digital Video Recorders

(DVR) through a network. Every DVR to which the BUS-WATCH® Live View application or

BUS-WATCH® Play back application will connect must have an entry created in Devices Setup

of the Digital BUS-WATCH® surveillance system.

Each DVR entry in Devices Setup includes information required by the BUS-WATCH® Live

View application or BUS-WATCH® Play back application to connect to a remote DVR through

a network, including the DVR network address, type, and number of channels.

For the Digital BUS-WATCH® surveillance system, DVR entries created using the Devices

Setup function are used to connect to network connected DVRs, and assign channels from the
